Through the devastation of the recent few weeks in Queensland, Royal on the Park Brisbane is excited to confirm it is moving from strength to strength. A resurgence in the market place, fuelled by a multi million dollar refurbish of the 145 Deluxe Rooms, Lobby, Lounge Bar and Walnut Restaurant has seen a substantial increase in confirmed business for the hotel.<\/p>\n

With a well established 42 year history in the CBD Brisbane conferencing market in, Royal on the Park’s strength has always been the location and versatility in the configurations of their rooms. Blessed with the spaciousness of a 1960’s construction the Hotel occupies an entire City block. But post floods it has been the stigma of being simply “open for business” that has seen a significant shift in enquiries – a trend felt throughout the industry.<\/p>\n

Helen Russo, Conference and Event Manager said “Post-flood the market has been more competitive, as we’ve seen a decrease in the amount of business we’re quoting. We’ve been trying to get the message out there loud and clear that despite close to $500k worth of damage from the floods, we were only out of action for 3 days – total – and that we’re fully back on deck and ready for business”.<\/p>\n
