The pit is completely covered over and the pot with the turkey is left to cook. \u00a0The smoky flavors mixed with the achiote, orange, tomato and onion make a savory and delicious dish.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the celebrations you will enjoy five spacious, beautifully furnished guest rooms, each with soaring ceilings and native-stone bathrooms with shower and tub. There are acres of gardens and trails pleasing birdwatchers and naturalists, a swimming pool and bikes available for explorers. \u00a0Their spa, offers a rich variety of treatments based on the Mayan tradition, many using home-grown and prepared products like rosemary oil and ginger flower essence.
