This converted\u00a0 RIBA Bronze awarded former police building has been modelled to a high specification and is now open as The Mercure London Greenwich<\/span><\/a> Hotel.<\/span><\/i><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>A 1930s Police Stat<\/span>ion in the heart of Greenwich has been converted and re-opened as the Mercure London Greenwich. Fortunately, Mercure hotel staff won’t be throwing away the keys, and guests will control their locks.<\/p>\n

The Mercure has been created out of the former police “Section House”, which \u2013 despite its utilitarian purpose \u2013 was winner of the 1946 Royal Institute of British Architects Bronze Award.<\/p>\n

Elegantly renovated and restored, the 145 room hotel successfully combines authentic architecture with contemporary design to offer boutique accommodation in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
