Australian hotel brand, Mantra<\/a>, has had an historic year with the opening of its first hotel in Asia \u2013 Mantra Nusa Dua Bali<\/a> \u2013 but back on home soil the network continues to expand. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Mantra’s regional network is set to grow with new properties in Wagga Wagga, Broome, and Townsville while investments in new developments at existing hotels in Geraldton and on the Sunshine Coast are also under way. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Mantra Group CEO, Bob East, said the new additions would complement the diverse network of 50 Mantra properties across Australia.  Mantra expects to have over 60 properties in the network in the next 12 months across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

“We have a broad mix of coastal resorts and CBD properties in all capital cities in the Mantra network, and this expansion into regional areas means we can offer an even greater geographical reach to corporate and leisure guests,” he said.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

In NSW, Mantra has added the Pavilion Hotel Wagga Wagga<\/a> (formerly All Seasons Pavilion Wagga Wagga) to its network.  The Pavilion Hotel will remain unbranded until extensive refurbishments are completed in late 2013, at which time the hotel will rebrand as Mantra Pavilion Wagga Wagga. <\/span>The centrally located property on Kincaid Street offers a complete suite of hospitality services including 45 rooms (hotel rooms and apartments), a unique atrium style restaurant, caf\u00e9 & bar, lounge areas, an all weather deck and a private conference room. The Wagga Wagga region acts as a regional hub for corporate activity and for surrounding communities with a wide range of tourism based attractions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Mantra is also set to add to its Western Australian network with a resort in the world famous Cable Beach, Broome joining the portfolio. The Frangipani Resort will rebrand as Mantra property in mid-July 2013 and will be known as Mantra Frangipani Broome<\/b>. The property consists of 54 villas; all with private courtyards, two large designer swimming pools, BBQ facilities, and open air showers in villas to complement Broome’s climate.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Further expansion is occurring in Western Australia at Mantra Geraldton<\/a> where a further 25 apartments are being added to the existing 24, scheduled for completion later this year.  <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

A similar project is under way at Mantra Rainbow Shores<\/a>, at the northern end of the Sunshine Coast.  Currently 10 villas have been built on the site with a further 26 to be built over the next year in the $26million development. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

A new Mantra development in North Queensland will see Townsville welcome a brand new 185-room hotel in 2015 as part of a restaurant and leisure precinct planned for the city’s CBD. The hotel development project, to be known as Mantra Townsville<\/b>, will bring a much needed four-star corporate hotel to the city, catering to the region’s demand from the mining resources sector and overall expansion.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
