The 4,411-meter-high Daocheng Yading airport, will set to open next Monday. Being built in Garze, a predominantly Tibetan area in Western Sichuan, it will become the world\u2019s highest civilian airport when put into operation.<\/span><\/span>

The airport, which officials said is aimed at boosting tourism in Daocheng Yading, the \u201clast Shangri-la\u201d in China, will have one regular flight every day from Chengdu. The total flight time lasts for 65 mins.<\/span><\/div>\n
