Taking place on the top deck of Carnival Spirit – the newest and largest cruise ship to call Australia home \u2013 the famous trainer led over 500 guests through an energetic and fun workout session that got everyone pumped.<\/span><\/div>\n
Speaking after the event, Ponton said; \u201cI was amazed by the turn out and energy at the boot camp \u2013 from the super fit to those just in it for fun \u2013 the ship rocked, and that wasn\u2019t just the awesome music!\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n

The boot camp is the first fitness program from Ponton since Carnival Cruise Lines partnered with the fitness trainer.<\/span><\/div>\n
Over the next few months, guests can experience Ponton\u2019s bespoke training programs and hear his advice on fitness and healthy dining options while on board.<\/span><\/div>\n
Ponton is working with Carnival Spirit fitness staff to design a series of \u201cdo-it-yourself\u201d gym programs as well as group workouts.<\/span><\/div>\n
He is also lending a hand in the kitchen to design bespoke, nutritional and great tasting food, which will be available onboard at \u201cFreshie\u2019s Corner.\u201d Holiday-goers can also enjoy his \u201chealthy choice\u201d recommendations which will be easily noted on menus in the Empire Dining room.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re so excited to have Shannan as an ambassador and for him to have led this spectacular world-first. I was in the middle of the Boot Camp action and loved the energy that came from everyone involved.
