The new venue\u2019s New York-inspired speakeasy concept \u2018premier whisky and cigar bar\u2019 at Mahatun Plaza, Ploenchit, entertained a busy gathering of VIP guests, Bangkok socialites and friends of Whisgars with an energetic and musical launch occasion.<\/span><\/div>\n

ChindAsia Capital Partners Limited, the investment group behind the unique Whisgars brand, successfully launched the first Whisgars bar on Sukhumvit Soi 23 last year. Following its popularity and strong revenue performance in its first year, ChindAsia chose to open Whisgars Ploenchit as a<\/span>\"unnamed franchised outlet, with new owner Richard Gotz the proud first licensee of the Whisgars marque.<\/span><\/div>\n

Richard said, \u201cI have been searching for a suitable location where I could implement my own interpretation of the Whisgars concept; a space which exudes a classic arrangement and atmosphere for executives to socialize and relax after a tough day. I\u2019ve been a resident in Thailand since 2010, and in that time I quickly realised that Ploenchit was a standout city centre hot-spot. From that point on, in <\/span>\"unnamedmy mind it was set to become the perfect central location for my Whisgars franchised venue.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n
