Leading hotel price comparison site names Australia’s most popular five star accommodations<\/p>\n

New data from HotelsCombined has named the most popular five star hotels in Australia and suggests that the number of five star hotel bookings in Australia has increased by 194 percent since 2013.<\/p>\n

According to HotelsCombined, the following ten luxury Australian hotels have had the most bookings in the last six months:<\/p>\n

Short, luxurious getaways appear to be the trend with HotelsCombined revealing that travellers staying on average only two nights in five star accommodations. In Australia, travellers booking five-star hotels spent an average of $322 (AUD) per night, a slight decrease from $330 (AUD) per night in the same time period in 2013.<\/p>\n

Global PR Manager at HotelsCombined, Alycia Simons says that the increase in five star bookings suggests that five star luxury is becoming more affordable and travellers are willing to spend that little bit more to ensure that their getaway is comfortable.<\/p>\n
