Celebrate a new event with TAUCK by wishing Bonne Ann\u00e9e 2015 on Saint-Sylvestre in France on December 31. The Tauck Paris Event gives guests an exclusive insider’s glimpse into historic royal stories, art and architectural masterpieces, French culinary secrets and a snapshot of daily life in France’s capital city \u2013 and a New Year’s Eve celebration to remember.<\/p>\n

During a five night stay at the historic and luxurious InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, in the heart of the city near Place de l’Op\u00e9ra and Rue St.-Honor\u00e9, Parisian stories come to life on daily themed sightseeing tracks. From Lut\u00e8ce to the Age of Enlightenment, to Paris’ Roman and Gothic beginnings and the places of honour and inspiration of the Parisian literati \u2013 where they lived, were inspired, and made history. Explore the epic story of power, love, and deception of Napoleon and Josephine and experience French Film, Fashion and Visual Arts through private visits that will reveal the passionate world of French photographers, fashion designers, and celebrities.<\/p>\n

Evenings and lunches include exclusive experiences at spectacular venues closed to the public, opened only for The Tauck Paris Event. Enjoy private farewell cocktails and dinner at Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay and a private New Year’s Day visit and lunch at Ch\u00e2teau de Vaux le Vicomte, a lavish 17th-century ch\u00e2teau that inspired Louis XIV, the Sun King, to build his own Palace of Versailles \u2013 where guests are welcomed by the Count, owner Jean-Charles de Vog\u00fc\u00e9.<\/p>\n
