Lovers of the beautiful city of Venice will know that its festivals are world-famous and this year is no exception with events such as Festa del Redentore running on 19 and 20 July and the Venice International Film Festival starting late August.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>

\nThe Festa del Redentore happens near St Mark\u2019s Square each year, where people from all over walk across the Grand Canal on a floating bridge of barges for good luck, followed by an amazing fireworks display over the lagoon. Later in summer, the Venice International Film Festival kicks off, an 11 day event in August that takes place along the sea-facing Lido Esplanade.\u00a0<\/span>\"unnamed\n<\/div>\n
But what to do before and after these festivities?
