Photography enthusiasts of all abilities will gather to hone their skills with one of the world&#8217;s most photographed icons, Uluru, as the prized subject matter. This interactive weekend will also take guests on a culinary journey lead by celebrated indigenous chef Mark Olive, who will showcase the region&#8217;s native produce at Tastes of the Outback outdoor dining experience and a culinary masterclass.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend will bring together some of Australia&#8217;s most noted photographers: Wayne Quilliam, Wayne Sorensen, Grenville Turner, plus photographic folio, food and social media authority, Sally Brownbill. A series of enlightening, informative workshops and tours will be held, catering to both beginners and those more advanced, covering topics such as camera and lighting techniques, post-production, portraiture, landscape and food photography. <\/p>\n<p>Gearing up to be the culinary highlight of the weekend is Tastes of the Outback, an exclusive outdoor dining experience with a contemporary bush-tucker-inspired menu by Mark Olive, aka the Black Olive. Mark will also host a culinary masterclass as part of the event, showcasing indigenous ingredients, such as native basil and thyme, lemon myrtle, river mint, wattle seed, quandong, lemon aspen and muntrie berries.<\/p>\n<p>The best photographs taken over the course of the weekend will be entered into a competition in the categories of Landscape, Spirit, and Taste, with the prize-winners announced at a gala dinner along with a showcase of the weekend in photographs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUluru in View offers yet another reason for travellers to plan a trip to the spiritual heart of Australia.
