Thailand again voted most favourite country by Top Indian Travellers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><span>For the third time in a row,\u00a0<\/span><strong>Thailand was voted\u00a0<\/strong><strong>the<\/strong><strong>most \u2018Favourite Country\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><span>at the annual Readers\u2019 Travel Awards of the Indian edition of Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<span>The prestigious award, which is based on votes cast by readers of India\u2019s leading luxurious travel magazine, was conferred at a glitz-and-glamour ceremony on the lawns of the ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi on 28 November, 2013. About 300 of India\u2019s leading hoteliers, travel agents, airline and luxurious service executives, and other eminent tourism industry personalities were in attendance<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"To-IndianTravellers1\" data-mce-src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/To-IndianTravellers1-300x199.jpg\" height=\"199\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/To-IndianTravellers1-300x199.jpg\" width=\"300\">\n<\/div>\n<div><span>The event was hosted by leading Indian actress Neha Dupia and awards were presented by Mr. Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director of Cond\u00e9 Nast India Pvt. Ltd., and Ms. Divia Thani Daswani, Editor of Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller India.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Thai Embassy, and Miss Runjuan Tongrut, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) office in New Delhi, accepted the award. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Soonthorn thanked the readers, editors and staff of Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller India, as well as Indian travellers for their continued fondness of Thailand.
