Today&#8217;s luxury travelers want the world\u2019s most luxury travel authentic experiences and pampering but they also want off-the-beaten-track adventures with impeccable service.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>That&#8217;s why Vietnam is shaping up as one of the most attractive destinations\u00a0in Asia, just\u00a0behind China, according to a recent survey of\u00a0<a data-mce-href=\"tel:1200\" href=\"tel:1200\" target=\"_blank\">1200<\/a>travel experts during WTM London 2013.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>Many\u00a0luxury travel experts say Vietnam is now one of the top ten destinations in Asia,\u00a0with luxury\u00a0the fastest-growing segment.\u00a0The beauty of Vietnam\u00a0is that\u00a0it\u00a0continues\u00a0to evolve without diluting\u00a0its cultural heritage,\u00a0achieving that delicate balance between modernity and the past.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>Pham Ha, founder and CEO of\u00a0<a data-mce-href=\"http:\/\/unikey%20-%20shortcut.lnk\/\" href=\"http:\/\/unikey%20-%20shortcut.lnk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Luxury Travel Ltd<\/a>\u00a0(<a data-mce-href=\"http:\/\/www.luxurytravels.asia\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.luxurytravels.asia\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.luxurytravels.asia<\/a>), one of the country&#8217;s first luxury travel and tour operators said\u00a0&#8220;t<i>oday&#8217;s luxury travelers want to be entertained and stimulated, rather than simply pampered, and Vietnam offers a magical mix of tropical beaches, post-<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"download (2)\" data-mce-src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/download-2.jpg\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/download-2.jpg\" width=\"226\">colonial charm, a string of World Heritage Sites, stunning inland scenery, world-renowned cuisine and a home-grown flair for hospitality.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><i><span><br \/><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n<div><span><i>Vietnam has all to offer<\/i>,&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>The luxury traveler\u00a0is being\u00a0tempted with new boutique hotels, experiences and tours, such as flying to Halong Bay from Hanoi by helicopter. Vietnam&#8217;s tourism infrastructure has improved dramatically and with\u00a0iconic colonial properties like the Sofitel Legend Metropole in Hanoi, a fast-growing list of modern luxury and spa destinations and\u00a0recently opened golf courses, the launch of luxury yacht and river cruise services ensure stress-free journeys away from the busy roads. Such improvements account for the the country&#8217;s recent growth in popularity.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>Additionally, Pham Ha says, &#8220;<i>Vietnam is still a relative travel bargain, even for those who don&#8217;t normally concern themselves with cost.&#8221;<\/i>\u00a0Travelers on a high-end itinerary can expect to pay\u00a0from $3,000 to $3,500 per person for a seven-day tour, although many are priced at more than $1,000 per day, per traveler.<b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div><b><span><br \/><\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div><b><span>Experiential Travel\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div><span>So what are some of Ha&#8217;s top\u00a0hotels and activities\u00a0in Vietnam? Villas are either Ocean View or Ocean Front (single-level and duplex) offering a choice of one, three and four bedrooms. There is a great staff-to-guest ratio, which means that there is always someone around to take care of your needs, whether it is an extra towel at the pool or a late-night snack.
