Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, explained that this year, AirAsia was focused on creating connections between high potential provinces, which led to the launch of the \u201cChiang Mai-Krabi\u201d daily direct flight serviced entirely by AirAsia\u2019s fleet of Airbus A320, 180 seat planes. \u201cWe are confident that the launch will spur tourism and spending for both provinces during the holiday season\u201d, said the CEO.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>To mark both the launch of the new route and the holiday season, AirAsia has created a great promotion for \u201cChiang Mai-Krabi\u201d flights with all-in fares starting at only 1,290 THB per way (all inclusive of airport tax and fees). Island lovers can enjoy even greater convenience with the Island Transfer service, which will take passengers from \u201cChiang Mai-Koh Lanta\u201d at an all-in fare of 1,765 THB; inclusive of the flight, shuttle vans and ferry service to and from Krabi Airport. Both promotions will be available for booking during 16 December 2013 to 5 January 2014 for travel between 19 December 2013 and 31 March 2014 at\u00a0<a data-mce-href=\"http:\/\/www.airasia.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.airasia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.airasia.com<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>Chiang Mai is the Thai North\u2019s most distinct travel destination with unique cultural offerings and renowned tourist sites.
