One of Accor’s top corporate clients, Lisa Warnes, Travel & Ops Manager at Optus will be driving around Sydney in style in her new $30,000 Peugeot Allure 208 car, which she won last night at the World of Accor expo at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth hotel.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Lisa was one of over 800 travel industry delegates who attended the expo, with five of the lucky attendees winning a key that had the potential to unlock the door for the Peugeot.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

World of Accor MCs <\/span>Melissa Doyle and Matt White gathered the five finalists next to the Peugeot and Lisa was the last to step forward to see if her key unlocked the car door. It did. Lights went flashing, she went into a joyous frenzy, and she all but drove the car out of the Grand Ballroom at the Sofitel and into the night.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

The Peugeot prize was one of a whole series of accommodation and travel prizes drawn during the evening. <\/span>Sourcing Manager at Experient, Brooke Cowdroy will be jetting off in Qantas business class style to Singapore and stay 3 nights at the soon-to-be-launched luxurious Sofitel So Singapore.<\/p>\n

Over 90 Accor delegates representing some 3,500 hotels were on hand to discuss Accor’s newest product \u2013 including over 11new Pullman hotels and five new MGallery hotels \u2013 with the travel industry.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Attendees were richly entertained throughout the evening, with <\/span>a special performance by multi-platinum band Human Nature, <\/span>while <\/span>Robert Oatley <\/span>wines ensured that guests were fully hydrated. <\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

World of Accor is the largest hotel expo staged in Australia and is part of an extensive World of Accor Asia Pacific programme that takes in 16 cities across the Asia Pacific region.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
