Following their hugely popular concert debut at the Royal Albert Hall in London as part of the 2012 BBC Proms, Wallace & Gromit will join the Sydney International Orchestra for\u00a0<\/span>Wallace and Gromit\u2019s Musical Marvels<\/b>\u00a0at Sydney Opera House on\u00a029 December.<\/span><\/span>

Eccentric inventor Wallace and his faithful, if often perplexed, dog Gromit are the much-loved stars of Nick Park\u2019s Academy Award winning Wallace & Gromit films. The clay animated characters and international pop culture icons star in a series of short films including the Oscar\u00ae winning The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave and the Oscar\u00ae feature film – The Curse of the Were-Rabbit .<\/span><\/div>\n

In\u00a0Wallace & Gromit\u2019s Musical Marvels<\/b>, the pair turn their attentions to the music business for a show featuring some cracking new animation plus timeless Wallace & Gromit moments, all set to a live orchestral performance of classical favourites including music by Mozart, Stravinsky and Debussy.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nWhat\u2019s more, Wallace is positively beaming with pride, having been commissioned to create a brand new piece of music for the concert.\u00a0 So with Gromit at his side, Wallace is preparing for his musical masterpiece, \u2018My Concerto in Eee Lad\u2019 \u2026what could possibly go wrong?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\"JG_WG_PROMS_Gromit_on_Piano_002.142629\"\n<\/div>\n
The performance also includes a special screening of the multi award winning Wallace & Gromit film \u201cA Matter of Loaf and Death\u201d with the soundtrack performed by the Orchestra live on stage.<\/span><\/div>\n
