{"id":12516,"date":"2013-08-28T08:43:00","date_gmt":"2013-08-28T08:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/traveloscopy.com\/travel-news\/a-spring-fling-for-the-tastebuds\/"},"modified":"2013-08-28T08:43:00","modified_gmt":"2013-08-28T08:43:00","slug":"a-spring-fling-for-the-tastebuds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/traveloscopy.com\/travel-news\/2013\/08\/a-spring-fling-for-the-tastebuds\/","title":{"rendered":"A Spring Fling for the Tastebuds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><span>Mudgee Region\u2019s gastronomical event of the year, the\u00a0<\/span><a data-mce-href=\"http:\/\/www.visitmudgeeregion.com.au\/wine-food-fest%22%20%5Cl%20%22.UfHNIh1--Uk\" href=\"http:\/\/www.visitmudgeeregion.com.au\/wine-food-fest%22%20%5Cl%20%22.UfHNIh1--Uk\" target=\"_blank\">Mudgee Wine and Food Festival<\/a><span>, kicks off from Friday 13<\/span><sup>th<\/sup><span>\u00a0\u2013 29<\/span><sup>th<\/sup><span>\u00a0September, with more than 60 delicious events scheduled over the two-week period.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span>Visitors to the mid-NSW province can take part in roaming feast events such as\u00a0<i>Go Tasting<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>Go Grazing<\/i>, or enjoy hot-air ballooning, wine and cheese tastings, food workshops, kids cooking classes and plenty of live music to sip and nibble to.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span><br \/><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Untitled\" data-mce-src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Untitled24-300x170.png\" height=\"170\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Untitled24-300x170.png\" width=\"300\">\n<\/div>\n<div><span>On Saturday 28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0September, the Mudgee Region will come together for a free street festival in the centre of town to mark the final weekend of the festival.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>CEO of Mudgee Region Tourism Holly Manning said, \u201cThe Mudgee Wine &#038; Food Festival has long been a highlight of the foodie calendar-year and we cannot wait to share a juicy slice of our renowned produce with visitors once again.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>\u201cAlmost all of our vineyards are family-owned and run, meaning you could have the winemaker guiding you through the fruits of their labour while visiting their cellar door.
