{"id":12427,"date":"2013-09-05T09:15:00","date_gmt":"2013-09-05T09:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/traveloscopy.com\/travel-news\/more-new-small-ships-in-dalmatia-2\/"},"modified":"2013-09-05T09:15:00","modified_gmt":"2013-09-05T09:15:00","slug":"more-new-small-ships-in-dalmatia-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/traveloscopy.com\/travel-news\/2013\/09\/more-new-small-ships-in-dalmatia-2\/","title":{"rendered":"More New Small Ships In Dalmatia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><span>Croatia holiday specialist Beyond Travel is offering an increased number of new, more upmarket, small ship cruising options in Croatia for 2014, to meet market demand from travellers seeking a more comfortable voyage along the Dalmatian Coast and islands.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span data-mce-style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><span>Marketing manager Bryce Crampton said that the new more sophisticated vessels remained extremely good value but offered more comfortable public areas, modern cabins and other facilities appreciated by the 55-year plus market.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span data-mce-style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><span><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>He added that the more mature market traditionally chose large ship cruising but many are now taking advantage of the new improved facilities provided by the small ship operators for a more authentic small ship cruise experience in Croatia.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span>Mr Crampon said, \u201cA growing trend for this section of the market is to combine a small ship Adriatic cruise with a fully escorted land tour to form an extended itinerary through Croatia and into\u00a0<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Krilo_Pride\" data-mce-src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Krilo_Pride.jpg\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eglobaltravelmedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Krilo_Pride.jpg\" width=\"226\"><span>neighbouring countries such as Slovenia, Italy and Montenegro\u201d.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>\u201cGenerally, the ships carry 35 to 40 passengers, offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with stops daily in small historic ports inaccessible to larger cruise ships\u201d.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>\u201cThe cruises are 8-days with weekly departures throughout summer from Dubrovnik which combine easily with tours such as the 11-day Dubrovnik to Venice or the 9-day Dalmatian Sunshine tour with discounts up to $400 per couple available for clients combining select 2014 cruise\u2019s and escorted tours\u201d.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>2014 cruises aboard the popular Adriatic Pearl start at $1450 per person.
