The company said the shorter title will \u201cresonate with consumers\u201d because the word \u201cAustralis\u201d means \u201cSouth,\u201d and the company explores the southernmost regions of South America, from Punta Arenas, Chile, to Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Australis operates the 136-passenger Via Australis and the 200-guest Stella Australis from September through April. The upcoming 2013-14 season will include three-, four- and seven-night itineraries. Rates start at $1,389 per person, including airport transfers, shore excursions and an open bar.
