Myanmar\u00a0has emerged as one of the hottest travel destinations in the world this year and is celebrated as a mysterious and spiritual land yet untouched.<\/span><\/p>\n

On\u00a0July 22, 2013,\u00a0Orient-Express<\/a>\u00a0will launch a new river cruiser,\u00a0Orcaella<\/a>, which will offer visitors even more opportunities to experience sights and culture.<\/p>\n

Orcaella (\u2018Or-kay-la\u2019) will embark on both an\u00a0Ayeyarwady\u00a0River\u00a0schedule\u00a0and a\u00a0ChindwinRiver\u00a0schedule, exploring popular cultural sites along the way. \u00a0The craft\u2019s small size (200 feet) will also allow it to sail along untouched waters and through remote destinations.\u00a0 Each of Orcaella\u2019s 25 spacious river-facing cabins, 17 of which are suites, will feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and ensuite bathrooms. \u00a0There is also a lounge area, bar, and swimming pool.<\/p>\n

Orcaella will offer seven- and 11-night itineraries between\u00a0Yangon\u00a0and Bhamo and will operate January-April and July-December.<\/p>\n

This new addition complements Orcaella\u2019s larger sister ship, the\u00a0Road To Mandalay<\/a>, which\u00a0cruises the\u00a0Ayeyarwady\u00a0River\u00a0for three, four, seven, or eleven nights between Bagan and\u00a0Mandalay\u00a0with a\u00a0variety of itineraries<\/a>.\u00a0This river cruiser can accommodate up to 82 passengers in 43 cabins. There is also the option to\u00a0extend<\/a>\u00a0itineraries with additional nights in historic Yangon, Ngapali, and\u00a0Inle\u00a0Lake, and Bhamo.\u00a0Orcaella also joins\u00a0Orient-Express\u2019 colonial-style mansion,\u00a0The Governor\u2019s Residence<\/a>,\u00a0featuring 48 accommodations set in a lush garden dotted with lotus pools.\u00a0 The hotel serves as an excellent base for travelers hoping to\u00a0<\/span>xplore the country’s unique destinations<\/p>\n
