Next week, British Airways will team up with Nova and Australia’s first online charity gift voucher company, Karma Currency to offer listeners the chance to win a fantastic five-night trip to Bangkok.
Each day during Nova’s Drive show, The Wrong Way Home, Akmal, Cal and Ed will invite listeners to register their stories on the website about people who’ve performed extreme acts of kindness, and why they’d like to ‘pay it forward’ by giving them a holiday. Akmal, Cal and Ed will judge all entries and the most creative or funniest will win the trip, courtesy of British Airways, to present to the person who performed the original act, thereby generating good karma.
Karma Currency (www.karmacurrency.com.au) allows people to give gift vouchers to friends and family who in turn pass the donation on to the charity of their choice. With hundreds of charities to choose from, you can help protect a rainforest, help fund a cure for cancer, educate a mind, rescue a puppy and lots, lots more.
The competition will run on The Wrong Way Home show with Akmal, Cal and Ed (3.00-6.00pm daily) from 2-6 June.
