Mantra Group Helps Put A Smile On 1000 Faces This Christmas

Mantra Group’s hotels and resorts across Australia have joined forces and collected more than 1000 gifts for children in the Red Cross Christmas Appeal to help families in crisis.

Louise Johnstone, Corporate Social Responsibility Officer for Mantra Group said employees were very humbled by the experience.

“We were overwhelmed with the generosity of our employees, who really enjoyed having the chance to buy a gift for child in need this Christmas.

“Gifts were packed up and shipped across the country to make sure we fulfilled our Christmas promise,” said Louise.

According to Red Cross National Business & Philanthropic Partnerships Manager, Miranda Jackson, Red Cross were extremely appreciative of the gifts and the strong relationship between Mantra Group and the Red Cross, which has been built over five years.

“The relationship between Red Cross and Mantra Group extends further than a yearly financial contribution,” said Miranda.

“The company extends their support by donating  unused hotel items such as beds, furniture, household items and linen  which are still in excellent condition and well utilised by our state offices to help Australians in need.”

Mantra Group is a National Humanity Partner of Red Cross and supports their Good Start Breakfast Club, an initiative providing breakfast to children in greatest need across Australia.

Mantra Group has donated more than 1000 gifts to 1000 children during the Red Cross Christmas Appeal to help families in crisis.
