Novotel Pacific Bay Resort Coffs Harbour to Host State of Origin NSW VB Blues Camp
The 2014 Holden State of Origin campaign commenced last Friday for the NSW VB Blues and Head Coach Laurie Daley announced that in preparation for the 2014 State of Origin series, the VB Blues camps will be based in Coffs Harbour ahead of the two Brisbane matches. In addition, ahead of Game Two, the VB Blues will be based at the Sydney Olympic Park precinct.
This is in line with Mr Daley’s focus on having the required structures in place to ensure improvements achieved in 2013 will continue, as a number of significant changes to the preparations were unveiled to ensure an enhanced level of professionalism required to be a high performing team.
Novotel Pacific Bay Resort Coffs Harbour will be hosting the VB Blues camps, utilising The Elite Training Centre, which has played host to several high-profile sporting teams.
Jodie Evans, Executive Assistant Manager for Novotel Pacific Bay Resort said that the resort was proud to have been selected as the base for the VB Blues camps.
“Novotel Pacific Bay has outstanding capabilities to host the NSW team with the first class facilities and state-of-the-art equipment in our Elite Training Centre as well as luxury accommodation. We are confident that the VB Blues will have an excellent experience with us.” Ms Evans said.
Mr Daley stated, “We want the best venue for our players to be able to utilise high performance training facilities that will best equip them for the biggest games on the rugby league stage. Coffs Harbour offers that for the Brisbane games.”
