Discover the captivating remnants of ancient civilisations as you sail through the Aegean Sea on this seven day voyage aboard Silversea’s ultra-luxury vessel, Silver Spirit.

Beginning her journey on 20 July 2015 from Istanbul, the city that straddles the line between the east and west, Silver Spirit sets sail to Greece and the picturesque Greek Islands. Docking in Kavala, a city amphitheatrically built on the gorgeous slopes of Mount Symvolo, guests are immersed in a blend of ancient and modern surroundings from cobblestone alleyways to striking mansions and tranquil harbours. From here, Silver Spirit cruises to Thessaloniki, where guests are treated to a half day excursion exploring the city’s Jewish heritage.

Silver Spirit then continues her voyage onto the city of Volos before docking in the charming port town of Mykonos, renowned for its crystal waters and contrasting snow-white houses with traditional wooden doors and window shutters painted in all shades of the Aegean blue. While in Mykonos, guests indulge in the exquisite beauty and flavours of this rugged island with a guided panoramic tour to beautiful cosmopolitan beaches and inside antique monastery architecture.

Crossing into Turkey, Silver Spirit sails to Kusadasi, a resort town filled with historic ruins and glorious sandy beaches, before stopping in Greece once more. Docking in Lesbos, Greece’s third largest island, guests visit Mytilene, an ancient city built on seven hills and crowned by the Gateluzzi fortress. Silver Spirit concludes her journey in Istanbul, with guests disembarking on 27 July 2015.
