Leading global hospitality management company Swiss-Belhotel International has announced a special promotion for families at its flagship New Zealand resort, Swiss-Belresort Coronet Peak.

Surrounded by mesmerising mountains and vistas above Queenstown, the international-standard resort is offering a spacious Family Room for two adults and two children for NZD150 per night based on a two-night stay. The room is normally NZD195 a night.

In addition, guests receive breakfast and NZD30 each day to spend in any of Swiss-Belresort Coronet Peak’s entertainment outlets including Strikebowl, a 10-pin bowling hall. The offer is valid from 30 September until 23 December 2014.

Swiss-Belhotel International’s Chairman and President Mr. Gavin M. Faull, a New Zealand native, said: “The ski season is over, but that doesn’t mean the fun stops there. The destination is not just famous for skiing but is equally well known as an adventure wonderland, and rightly so.”

Outdoor activities include an exhilarating tour of a canyon and numerous bike and walking trails, with a shotover jet boat ride on a pristine river only minutes away. For the more adventurous, there are lots of other options including a canyon swing, which involves a 60m free-fall before swinging into an arc safely above a river between canyons.

Also on the adventure menu are bungey jumping, fishing, horse trekking, hot air balloon rides, kayaking, luging, Lord of the Rings tours, Milford Sound trips, paragliding, rafting, river surfing, scenic flight tours, sky diving and steamboat rides. Golf and vineyard experiences are available too.

Mr Faull added: “The response to the property’s launch last year has been fantastic, with guests appreciating our amenities, location and special brand of service and professionalism. It is an extremely attractive destination and ideal for families from throughout Asia Pacific to come and enjoy the activities and natural environment.”

Swiss-Belresort Coronet Peak offers 82 spacious suites, two bars, two restaurants, a reception area, an interactive booking service for activities and excursions and the only bowling alley in Queenstown. Its location also provides easy access to the Onsen Hot Pools — a hot tub overlooking the Shotover River.
The Hong Kong-based company will unveil 20 hotels globally this year, cementing its reputation as one of the world’s most exciting hospitality management groups.

Swiss-Belhotel International has more than 120 hotels, resorts and projects in its global portfolio with a presence in China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
