Sailing to one of the most captivating countries in the world, this 17-day voyage on board Silversea’s Silver Cloud will travel through Brazil, uncovering the natural beauty of this unique part of the world.
Beginning her journey in Barbados on 25 January 2015, Silver Cloud will sail to Bequia, a jewel in the Caribbean and the largest of the islands that make up the Grenadines. Silver Cloud will continue to Grenada, known as the ‘Isle of Spice’, before voyaging to Devil’s Island, a small island located off the coast of French Guiana in South America.
Sailing through Brazil, ports of call will include Macapa, Santarem, Boca da Valeria and Anavilhanas, where guests can witness the traditional lifestyles, take in the colourful landscapes and glimpse native wildlife such as monkeys, sloths and exotic birds. Staying in Brazil, Silver Cloud will journey to Manaus, the hub of the Amazon region, located in the banks of the Rio Negro. Docking for two nights, guests will be able to explore the bustling city, its surrounding forests and tributaries, and Manaus’ most famous attraction, the opulent Teatro Amazonas. Silver Cloud will then visit Alter do Chao, a picturesque Amazonian destination located above the Tapajós River, and Macapa, before sailing back to Bridgetown, with guests disembarking on 11 February 2015.
