Major resorts and hotels are open and Air Pacific, Fiji’s national airline, and all other major airlines are servicing the destination.
Pacific Sun, which operated domestic flights throughout the week between Suva and Nadi, has now resumed flights to Fiji’s outer islands.
At Port Denarau, inter-island cruise and ferry services to the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands are fully operational.
Roads and bridges from Nadi International Airport to Denarau and the Coral Coast are also passable. Any remaining road and bridge issues are being addressed and expected to be resolved over the next few days.
The risk of flooding has now completely cleared in the main tourism corridors and any residual floodwaters in the non-resort areas, such as Ba and Rakiraki, are receding and expected to return to normal levels in short time.
