Travel journalist pleads: “I am not Ronnie Biggs, leave me alone!”
One of Australia’s best known independent travel journlaists has gone into hiding after UK tabloid newspapers have linked him to a Ronnie Biggs “doppelganger” scam.
The widely published writer contacted traveloscopy.com through a friend with the plea; “I am not, nor have I ever been, Ronnie Biggs. It was an honest mistake when hired thugs tried to extradite me to Britain from Rio. It’s time to move on.”
