United Receives 2008 TTG Travel Award’s “Best North American Airline”

Commitment to the Asia-Pacific region duly recognized by Industry peers and business partners

Hong Kong, October 14, 2008 – Travel agents, tour operators and travel service providers in the Asia-Pacific region have, for the ninth time in the past nineteen years, voted United Airlines the “Best North American Airline” in Travel Trade Gazette Asia’s (TTG Asia) prestigious annual Travel Awards this year.

In its nineteenth year of running, the TTG Travel Awards is one of Asia-Pacific’s best established and most prestigious accolades for top industry players. To select this year’s Travel Awards recipients, TTG distributed a survey to readers of all of its group publications including TTG Asia, TTG Mice, TTG China and TTG BT Mice China.   A total of 43,000 votes from across the Asia-Pacific region were cast this year.
