The streets of Surfers Paradise are transformed into a high-octane international motor racing track. The main event is greeted with plenty of fanfare, including dozens of social events, street parties and festivals that all add to the famous Indy carnival atmosphere.

In 2006 the Pan Pacific Masters Games will be the largest multi-sport masters event in Australia and New Zealand. From 4 - 12 November 2006 an anticipated 10,000 participants from all over the world will compete in more than 40 sports at 35 venues across the Gold Coast.
Sports range from the individual, athletics, swimming, pistol shooting, fencing and motocross to team sports that include touch football, softball, rugby league and netball. Age categories range from 25 - 90+ depending on the sport.

The IF Awards celebrate and support Australian film and open a channel of communication between filmmakers and their audience. The awards will take place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and are broadcast on SBS nationally.

Surfers Paradise Grand Prix Cycling

The Surfers Paradise Cycling Grand Prix includes a Corporate Pro-Am event, Open Men and B / C Grade events, and a great corporate hospitality area where you can mix with the stars. There will be some great racing from the huge line up expected and is an event not to be missed.
