The good news is there are great programs and events to engage the kids - and even greater travel packages to get you there. Pissarro: The first Impressionist, 19 November 2005 to 19 February 2006 The Art Gallery of New South Wales presents the largest exhibition by a major impressionist artist ever to be held in Australia. With more than 100 works drawn from collections worldwide and some of Camille Pissarro's most famous images, there's also a range of family activities taking place. The kids will love story-telling through the art of Pissarro to workshops encountering his unique world of colour, light and texture. For more information, go to www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au.
