Rendezvous Sanctuary Resort, Cable Beach: A New Pearl in Broome

Famous for camel rides on the white sands of beautiful Cable Beach, spectacular sunsets over the warm turquoise waters, incredible pearls and it’s “Staircase to the Moon”, Broome, Western Australia now has a new, AUD$50 million tropical resort, Rendezvous Sanctuary Resort, Cable Beach; the latest addition to the Rendezvous Hotels & Resorts International (Rendezvous) group. Stage one, featuring 42 self-contained studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 3 bedroom villas, some with their own private pools, will open its doors on 30th September 2005.

Rendezvous Sanctuary Resort is located just a short walk from the beautiful Cable Beach, only seven kilometres from Broome’s town centre and six kilometres from the region’s international and domestic airport.

The resort design consists of 167 apartments of all configurations to be constructed in 3 to 4 stages and a further 39 apartments will open by the beginning of November 2005. An additional 44 apartments are scheduled for early May 06 and the final stage by late October 2006. When completed, there will be approximately 340 beds with the facility to accommodate over 500 guests per night.
