A record 136 cruises from five departure ports to the South Pacific, Asia and tropical north Queensland are featured in P&O Cruises’ biggest-ever brochure for its growing fleet of Australian liners.

In a history-making first, P&O Cruises will offer three year-round ships in its new 2005-06 program – Pacific Sun cruising from Sydney, newcomer Pacific Star sailing from Brisbane and Auckland and Pacific Sky offering voyages from Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore.

The new 90-page brochure offers a choice of 136 cruises ranging from three to 16 nights between July 2005 and November 2006. Passengers can also choose from an unprecedented 49 ports across the South Pacific, south-east Asia, New Zealand and Australia.

The new 2005-06 program includes 65 new cruises just released for sale for departures between April-November, 2006, with fares set at 2005 levels.

To mark the release of its biggest ever cruise season, P&O Cruises is offering a special 20 per discount for cruises booked before October 31, 2005.

“Our 2005-06 brochure for our three year-round Australian liners is big, exciting, colourful and certain to inspire anyone contemplating a carefree, value-for-money holiday at sea,” said P&O Cruises Australia Managing Director Gavin Smith.

“No matter where you live, when you want to sail or where you want to go, our comprehensive new program for 2005-06 will see you in a deckchair, cocktail in hand, in no time at all. And once you’ve sampled the good life at sea, you’ll be back for more on another of our ever-growing range of itineraries to the most exotic destinations we can find on the map,” said Mr Smith.
