Daylesford’s Lake House Laps up Major Awards

The Lake House Hotel and restaurant has done it again. Fabulous cuisine coupled with magnificent views has earned the Lake House restaurant the prestigious title of Best Regional Property at the HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, held in late April.

The Lake House was judged by a panel of thirty industry specialists against a very competitive field, with finalists including Longitude 131 (NT), Lillianfels (NSW), Cape Lodge (WA), El Questro (WA) and The Observatory (NSW).

The HM Awards arrive hot on the heels of yet another accolade for the Lake House, nominated again for a ‘Best of Award for Excellence’ award at the annual New York Wine Spectator Awards, where they were cited as having “one of the most outstanding wine lists in the world.”
