Passengers Rate Copenhagen Airport Best in Europe 15 Apr 05
The jointly conducted AETRA survey asks domestic and international travellers to rate airports on 31 service-related points including overall experience, efficiency of check-in staff, signage, cleanliness, shopping and dining opportunities and security.
Copenhagen Airport competed with 23 other airports in Europe – among them major hubs such as Amsterdam and London Heathrow.
“We are proud that passengers have once again rated Copenhagen Airport Europe’s best. We are able to offer great services, more benefits and flexibility to Australian travellers using Copenhagen as their hub to our extensive network of European destinations,” says Lars Sandahl, SAS General Manager Australia and New Zealand.
“Its excellent geographical proximity to northern and central Europe and ability to offer fast and efficient connections make Copenhagen an attractive solution as increasing numbers of Australians are discovering.”
Copenhagen makes an attractive stopover destination too. Packages with two nights accommodation, breakfast and a 72 hour Copenhagen Card – providing free public transport and admission to 70 attractions – from $281pp are in Australia’s first ever Denmark travel brochure, newly released by Bentours in association with the Danish Tourist Board and Scandinavian Airlines.
