Air New Zealand safety video features staff in the buff
In a ploy to get passengers to actually pay attention to the in-flight safety demonstration, Air New Zealand has created a new video featuring flight attendants wearing nothing but body paint.
The safety video was launched on Air New Zealand's Boeing 737 domestic flights, following the airline's Nothing To Hide ad campaign, which featured pilots, cabin crew and even airline CEO Roy Fyfe wearing just body paint to promote no-hidden-fees airfares.
The video shows male and female flight attendants cheerfully give safety instructions - where to stow baggage, turn off mobile phones, how to use seat belts and life jackets - clad in body paint that mimics their uniforms.
Careful camera angles keep breasts and genitals hidden behind seat backs, life jackets or strategically-crossed legs.
