Grand Pacific Tours, the New Zealand Luxury Coach Holiday specialist, shall be launching the long anticipated Ultimate Touring Coach in August 2008 when it rolls off the production line in Brisbane.

The coach shall then journey along the eastern seaboard of Australia and visit 45 cities. This will comprise six major city presentations and 39 viewings in regional Australia. Light refreshments will also be available and the chance to win a New Zealand Travel voucher per couple will be drawn on the day.

Grand Pacific Tours staff shall be on hand at each venue to answer questions about this unique vehicle and The Ultimate New Zealand Experience.

Ultimate New Zealand is a 15 day fully escorted experience through the spectacular South Island. With the key emphasis placed on great food and wine, luxurious accommodation and iconic activities this amazing holiday will satisfy any appetite for a new and unique journey.

The specially constructed coach has been commissioned by Grand Pacific Tours to exacting specifications and designed to take a maximum 20 travellers configured on a regular 49 passenger coach. Fully reclinable extra-wide leather seating for all travellers, a galley, state of the art in-coach entertainment system plus more luxuries await those travellers who will journey through the South Island.

Managing Director, Peter Harding comments “We are very excited about our Ultimate New Zealand Experience. This has taken two years in the planning and working very carefully with our partners in developing the coach, itinerary and inclusions this will redefine the concept of coach travel. It will surely seduce the discerning traveller who appreciates the pinnacle in comfort and style.”

The Ultimate New Zealand Experience shall commence in Christchurch and journey along the east coast to Dunedin, Fiordland, Te Anau, Queenstown, Mt Cook, Hanmer Springs, Nelson, Blenheim and Kaikoura before returning to Christchurch. The itinerary shall be paced to allow travellers to explore each region with three nights allocated in Christchurch and Queenstown.

Some of the included attractions and activities are Breakfast with the Penguins, guided tour of Larnach Castle, Overnight Doubtful Sound Cruise, Helicopter flight and a special landing on the Remarkables, the famed Shotover Jet ride, Greenshell Mussel Cruise, spectacular wine maker’s dinner in Marlborough and an amazing Whale watching experience.

Of course, the Ultimate New Zealand tour would not be complete without the luxury accommodation to complement such a wonderful itinerary. Travellers will enjoy the comfort of suites at the Millennium Hotel Christchurch, the unique experience of an overnight cruise on Doubtful Sound, the luxury of superb villa suites at Millbrook Resort, discover the spectacle of Mt Cook at The Hermitage Hotel and soak up the European charm at Vintners Retreat in Marlborough.

This will be the only chance to see the coach prior to it being shipped to New Zealand to commence touring. Ensure that you don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to see not just the best coach in its class, but the only coach in it class.
