There's one snow-covered alpine resort in Australia that has
Earned numerous accolades for being family-friendly.
Whilst not new it is our key attribute - satisfying the family market..
Falls Creek Alpine Resort has a range of attributes from a car-free
village to the number one terrain park for the more adventurous snow riders.
However, it is the alpine resortıs ability to please families which
cajoles a growing number of parents seeking an enjoyable winter holiday (for their children) in the heart of Victoria's snow-covered slopes.
This popular, family-friendly alpine playground, has lot of regular guests
with young children because of one key element (apart from its array of
gentle, groomed slopes) the resortıs Snows Sport School
Hand-picked Instructors do a marvellous job with L Platers who are
participating in their very first ski or boarding lesson. Akin to personal
trainers or golfing pros (with a healthy attitude) the instructor plays a
significant part in the childıs experience at any ski resort.
Young, budding skiers and snowboarders, spend a lot of time with the
resortıs Snows Sport School Instructors when they participate in the daily MILO
Snowclub 4 Kids (for 3-5 year olds) program and the more adventurous MILO
Junior Workshops (offered seven days a week) for 6-14 year olds.
Feedback from parents, whose kids sign-up for the daily programs, is more often than not very positive.
The budding snowriders tend to be more content being with others their own
age rather than hanging out with mum and dad, who are no doubt very good
parents, but they're not qualified to teach their youngsters how to ski or board.
The Children's Centre (for parents with 3-5 year old or 6-14 year old
budding skiers or boarders) ) is one the biggest and best in an Australian alpine
resort.
Parents are quite comfortable once they've registered their appropriately
attired kids (dressed in lots of warm ski clothing) at the resort's purpose-built children's centre, located at Cloud 9 alongside the top of
the Falls Creek Express Chairlift.
Its well-trained, child-friendly staff, are why kids convince their
parents to bring them back to the Falls Creek.. Parents (and children) can see it is a very welcome environment. It has a fantastic atmosphere - bright, light and really motivating.
