Bangkok Shopping Hotspots Revealed

In more than 20 years in the airline industry, Wendy Johnson sent countless travellers off to discover the world. Now she is putting her knowledge to paper.

When she left the airline industry last year, Wendy was Air New Zealand’s Brisbane Airport Manager after a career which also saw her working with carriers including Thai International and the former Australian Airlines.

Embarking on a new career as an author, Wendy has published the first book of her new series “Hot Spots to Shop” to assist travelers in finding the best shopping in popular and emerging destinations within the Asia-Pacific region.

The first of the pocket-sized books, “Hot Spots to Shop in Bangkok” “Hot Spots to Shop in Bangkok is designed as a ready source of information for both first-time travelers and frequent visitors to the city,” said Wendy.

“As a big fan of shopping myself, I found Bangkok a bewildering city – but with expert advice from locals I discovered where the best places were hidden,” she said.

“The book explains what is available and where, and provides guidance for travellers who need to find specific products or services, but have limited time to do so, or are having problems with language or cultural barriers that exist in Thailand.”

The book lists shopping centres and individual stores in alphabetical order, and includes type of merchandise sold or services offered, shop trading hours, telephone contact, forms of payment and transport information.

“Hot Spots to Shop in Bangkok” is ideal for not only for tourists, but for business travelers who may only have limited free time between appointments to find the ideal place to shop.

The guide cost AUD19.95 plus postage and packaging and is available on our website, www.hotspots2shop.com

It will also be available at participating stores nationwide, details of which will be announced on our website.
