Traveloscopy Wants Your Travel Stories

Every Published Story Wins a Prize

We're looking for short, punchy travel tales with a theme and a location, preferably written in the first person with one or two pics. Funny, inspiring, amazing, wierd or interesting. It could be your big break!

Ideal length: 500-800 words

Okay, so it won't be a Round-the-World ticket, but we have DVDs, Music CDs, magazine subscriptions, travel vouchers and books. If we publish your story, you definately get something. Only we'll be picky, so it needs to be good. Good stories get good prizes. Judges/editors decision is final and completely at our whim!

We don't want:

  • PR-type "puff pieces" that overtly promote a product
  • Run-of-the-mill "what I did on the weekend" stuff
  • Blurry, poorly composed snaps with a finger in front of the lens.

How to submit:

Register and log on at www.traveloscopy.com

Go to User Menu > Add Your Story (you won't see this menu until you're logged in)

Don't worry too much about formatting, we'll tidy it up.

Please try and keep file sizes to less than 100kb - we're only a website after all.

Our team of editors will attempt to respond to every entry, giving tips where appropriate and if rejected, reasons.

You're welcome to pass this e-mail on to friends and colleagues.
